Day 1 : Yangon

Meet with our guide on arrival at the Yangon international Airport and transfer to the hotel. Today's sightseeing tour includes the old colonial style city center, the gilded Sule Pagoda, dating back over 2,000 years and Bogyoke (Scott's) Market (closed on Public Holidays & Mondays). Then proceed to ChaukHtatGyi, a huge reclining Buddha image, followed by a photo stop at Karaweik Hall royal floating barge. An extended visit to the Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the world's most spectacular religious monuments will conclude the tour of this picturesque Garden City. The golden dome of the Shwedagon Pagoda rises 98 meters above its base and is covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Accommodation at the hotel, in Yangon.

Day 2 : Yangon – Kyaikhtiyo (Car)

After breakfast drive to Bago (84 km – approximately 2 hours). En route, visit the Allied War Graves cemetery near HtaukKyan, a tree shrine dedicated to the legendary animist spirits known as "Nats". Then continue to Kin Pun "base camp" (110 km - approximately 3½ hours) and onward to Kyaiktiyo (the "Golden Rock"), a huge boulder completely covered by gold leaves and delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff. From Kin Pun take a local truck up a bumpy track (45 minutes drive) to arrive to the Golden Rock. On arrival, watch the beauty of a sunset at this important pilgrimage site.

Note : If the weather is too worse, the local truck cannot be permitted to Golden Rock and can be stopped at Yathaytaung. From Yathaytaung travelers must walk the final stage (about 4 kilometers – 45 minutes) up steep paths, which ascend some 500 meters to the Golden Rock.

Day 3 : Kyaikhtiyo – Bago - Yangon (Car)

After breakfast, visit the rest of places on the hill, and then walk down to Yathedaung and down-ride to the base camp, after that drive to Bago (84 km – approximately 2 hours). On the way, you will see Shwemadaw pagoda which is over 1000 years old and whose spire is even taller than the one from Shwegagon pagoda, the 55 meter long reclining Shwethalyaung Buddha image and Bago Market. Then proceed to Yangon.

Day 4 : Yangon – Thanlyin – Kyauktan – Yangon (Car)

After breakfast, excursion to Thanlyin (Syriam), one of the centers of foreign trade for the lower part of Myanmar in the 16th century. In Thanlyin you will visit the ruins of a Catholic Church built by an italian missionary in the 18th Century and KyaikKhauk Pagoda. Then continue to Kyauk Tan Ye Le` Pagoda ("Mid-Stream-Pagoda"), set on a tiny island in the river. Explore another two pagodas and the riverside market. And then drive back to Yangon. Day 5 : Yangon Departure

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Yangon International Airport for your departure flight.
